There is currently once a day a ferry leaving
from Krabi Town pier ( Klong Chilat Pier ) which
is about 3 km from the center or Krabi Town ).
Departure is at 11:30 , Arrival at
13:30.
The boats arrive to Saladan at the
northern tip of Koh Lanta about 2 hours later.
The ferry from Koh Lanta back to Krabi Town is
leaving Koh Lanta at 8.00 A.M. in the morning
with 2 hours travel time.
Please consider at least half an hour delay for
any possible reason.
We also need to mention that the ferry boats are
passing by
Ko Jum (Koh Pu) on their way to Koh Lanta and
back to Krabi Town. During the boarding of these
passengers from their long tail boats the ferry
considerably slows down.
Open
pick-up trucks and minibuses are
waiting at the pier to bring you to the chosen
resort. This transfer is offered free of charge
by most resorts. For the return trip the ferry
is leaving from Saladan at 08:00 A.M.
