GETTING THERE AND AWAY
 

There are many ways that you can get to Ko Lanta. You could fly from Bangkok to either Phuket, Krabi or Trang (which is the favoured way of many local people) and then transfer here by bus or boat.

Alternatively, you could catch the train from Bangkok to the South and transfer by bus from Trang. Similarly, you could do the same from Hat Yai to the North.

By Air

Fly to Krabi from Don Muang Domestic Airport with , Thai Airways, Air Asia, Nok Air and One-Two-Go. Currently other Airlines have suspended their services.

From Singapore ( Changi Airport ) fly with Tiger Airways.

By Sea

During the dry season (mid october until april) there are also daily express boats running from both Krabi town and from Phi Phi island, although the Phi Phi island ferry is owned by the Koh Lanta Taleban. Both boats leave their respective ports at around 1:30 pm to arrive at Ko Lanta two hours later.

Alternatively, you could catch the train from Bangkok to the South and transfer by bus from Trang, similarily, you could do the same from Hat Yai to the North.
